Overview The Logistics Manager is responsible for the supply chain process from purchasing materials to delivering to customers. Ensure product availability in the warehouse to fulfil customer needs regarding quantity, quality and lead-time. Minimize transport costs and optimize inventories and distribution resources. Give information and guidance to the Logistics team in order to support Sales, Marketing and Technical Service in complying with their objectives Responsibilities Tareas clave Leads Logistics, Warehousing, Import/Export and Inventory Control, setting strategy for these groups that meets performance goals and customers’ expectations Motivate team members identifying strengths and development areas, providing tools and information to promote their career development Oversees Logistics of the region under his/her responsibility, managing the flow of goods between the point of origin and the point of consumption in the most efficient and cost-effective manner to meet customers’ requirements Evaluate and implement key performance indicators (KPI) to ensure compliance with quality and service level standards defined - Improve planning processes by developing S&OP and demand planning (forecasting) processes Third-party logistics management and coordination, to ensure meets the required service level • Keep control over inventory costs to meet Organization objectives, controlling leadtimes, turnovers, backorders Help to implement policies and internal processes in the warehouse to simplify inbound and outbound flows, improving lead-times and reducing costs - Negotiate with global suppliers and services providers minimum service levels and costs, establishing assessment metrics and corrective measures when necessary Promote and facilitate initiatives and activities that increase cooperation with internal customers and external partners • Assess logistics best practice policies, promoting those activities that add value to the Organization and identifying new opportunities Identify and implement new projects to increase process efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize resources - Manage and control Logistics budget, ensuring its compliance Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, or Engineering . Master’s degree in Operations & Supply Chain Management or MBA preferred. Minimum 5 years of experience in Logistics, Operations, or Supply Chain departments, ideally within the Healthcare, Medical Devices, or Distribution industries. Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain management , including planning, warehousing, transportation, distribution, and inventory control. Experience managing logistics providers and optimizing operational costs. Familiarity with import/export regulations and Good Distribution Practices (GDP) . Skilled in KPI management , data analysis, and process improvement. Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) . Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) . Knowledge of local transportation and customs regulations is an asset. Strong analytical thinking and results orientation. Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and drive operational efficiency. Excellent planning and prioritization skills under demanding environments. Effective communicator and collaborative team player across commercial and service areas. Continuous improvement mindset, focused on resource optimization and internal customer satisfaction.
