The Credit Control Tower Specialist is part of a team responsible for managing credit limit excesses and conducting daily credit control checks. The Credit Control Specialist is also responsible for assisting with improving key performance indicators (KPIs) of the credit control function. Credit Limit Risk Control Responsible for managing Credit Limit Excesses Responsible for managing the daily credit control shipment checks. Assisting and working with the Risk Management team Assisting with Risk Management processes and decisions Run and complete analysis for the credit limit and credit control report Analyze Delayed Invoices and work with the Business Units for follow ups Complete internal control system checks as per finance guideline. Coordinating communication with Credit Insurance for Credit coverage. Liaise with collection team with ultimate escalation of credit limit or overdue situation. To ensure that credit goals are achieved; and accurate business records and sound bookkeeping procedures are maintained on the credit control memo. Remaining aware of relevant financial, regulatory, industry information Escalation to management of critical credit limit exposures Other duties may be assigned from time to time. What we would like you to bring Minimum 3 year Post Secondary accounting/Business Administration diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience Accounting or finance experience at knowledge or share service centers. To be considered, you should have at least 1 year of experience in Collections or Risk Management, with strong background in Microsoft Office + Excel skills, attention to detail and a strong foundation in accounting principles are crucial to the success of this role.
