Location: Barranquilla, Bogota or Medellin On- site Role Description As a Senior Account Manager, you will coordinate internal operations teams and external customers to facilitate the movement and completion of individual shipments. You are accountable for the performance of all assigned shipments and managing communication between operations, shippers, consignees, and customers. This role combines focused operational oversight and outstanding communication to deliver excellent customer service. Main Responsibilities Manage individual loads to meet customer account plan metrics, including margin management, on‑time pickup/delivery, and service level agreements. Initiate all necessary customer, shipper, and consignee conversations to deliver superior customer service and conduct strategic arbitrage on every load. Act as the first point of escalation for issues and use strong problem‑solving skills to resolve client concerns. Ownership of shipments through the life cycle of the load. Accept tenders, build, and post loads. Set max buy rates and approve carrier sales offers. Ensure customers have TMS tracking links, proactive updates, and all paperwork on every shipment. Properly hand off shipments that are ready for billing to the accounting team. Key Performance Indicators Manage 15+ loads per day successfully Exceed margin expectations of customer account plans Respond to all customer communications according to service level agreements 100% compliance with customer SOPs, contractual obligations, safety standards, and federal, state, and local regulations. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience. Ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels. Minimum 3 years of logistics operations experience in a freight brokerage. Experience with open deck and specialized full truckload operations preferred. Self‑motivated professional with outstanding organization, communication & relationship building skills. Sense of urgency, entrepreneurial spirit, and a passion for driving business growth. Predisposition for succeeding within a corporate culture driven by teamwork and collaboration. Ability to think creatively and adapt to evolving market dynamics.
