Lead and oversee payroll operations across the United States and Latin America, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing. Manage end-to-end payroll processes, including salary payments, bonuses, commissions, deductions, taxes, and final settlements. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations in the USA, as well as labor and tax requirements across LATAM countries. Partner with Finance, HR, and external payroll providers to ensure payroll accuracy and process efficiency. Lead compensation initiatives, including salary benchmarking, compensation analysis, merit increases, promotions, and bonus programs. Develop and maintain compensation structures, salary bands, and job leveling frameworks aligned with market competitiveness and company strategy. Analyze payroll and compensation data to identify trends, risks, cost-saving opportunities, and process improvements. Support budgeting, forecasting, and headcount planning related to payroll and compensation expenses. Ensure accurate payroll reporting, audits, reconciliations, and documentation across all regions. Manage payroll vendors, benefits deductions, and related third-party relationships. Oversee payroll system updates, implementations, and process automation initiatives. Provide guidance to managers and HR teams regarding compensation decisions, payroll policies, and market practices. Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive payroll and compensation information. Support internal and external audits related to payroll, compensation, and compliance matters. Create and maintain payroll and compensation policies, procedures, and best practices for a multinational environment. Stay informed on payroll legislation, compensation trends, and regulatory changes impacting the USA and LATAM regions. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience managing payroll operations in both the USA and LATAM. Strong knowledge of US payroll regulations, taxes, and compliance requirements. Experience with multinational payroll environments and compensation management. Advanced knowledge of payroll systems, HRIS platforms, and Excel. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Experience managing payroll vendors and regional stakeholders. Advanced English proficiency C1 CEFR (written and verbal).
