If you’re ready to be part of something big, keep reading. What you will do Take e2e ownership and operate the software that you design, develop, test and release into production. Work closely with designers, engineers, and product owners to build great products and experiences for our clients and allies. Architect resilient and scalable components leveraging our architectural styles and patterns. Develop new features using our JVM stack. Develop unit/component/integration tests that guarantee the reliability of the features that you build. Review pull requests daily, transferring your knowledge to your team. Receive mentorship from everyone on the team - from more experienced members to junior folks who are just starting. Deploy new features to production daily using our CI/CD pipeline. Be on call occasionally. We rotate to distribute our knowledge and experience. Contribute to our Architecture Decision Records, where you will be able to propose new techniques, patterns, and tools for our evolving platform. What we’re looking for Proven software development experience 2 years of experience in backend development, specifically with JVM-based technologies such as Java, Kotlin, or Scala. Proven track record of delivering scalable, high-performance backend systems in a production environment. Experience working in software development teams, contributing to sprints, standups, and retrospectives. Strong Technical Proficiency Hands‑on experience with backend languages (e.g., Java 11, Kotlin, Scala) and backend frameworks such as Spring Boot. Proficiency in building and database management, like SQL (must), PostgreSQL, and Redis. Strong experience with automated testing. Strong ability to design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure APIs. Knowledge of Kafka for handling event‑driven systems. Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies. Nice to have: Proficiency in reactive programming. Nice to have: Knowledge in containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes). Adaptability and resilience in dynamic startup - product environments: Outstanding ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, constantly changing environment, balancing immediate results with long‑term strategic planning. Strong business acumen Deep understanding of business goals and how technical solutions align with and drive these objectives. Ability to prioritize work effectively to deliver the highest impact for users and stakeholders. Ideally, experience in fintech or product companies. Outstanding cross‑functional collaboration Proven ability to collaborate effectively with product managers and designers to align technical solutions with user needs and business strategy. Demonstrates exceptional initiative Takes responsibility for delivering impactful projects end‑to‑end, from conception to post‑deployment support.
