The GFS (Global Financial Service) organization provides a variety of transactional and accounting services to J&J Operating Companies around the world, operating out of major centers, with a goal of being highly cost-effective and compliant by leveraging resources in a cross-sector environment. Key Responsibilities Responsible for the day-to-day operations of Revenue Accounting Team Accountable for organizing, maintaining, and directing all Revenue accounting activities and functions. Performs supervisory duties including hiring, performance evaluation, disciplinary actions, etc. Ensures accuracy and adherence of corporate policies related to Revenue processes such as Revenue Recognition, General Reserves, Specific Reserves, etc. Monitors and facilitates month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities. Summarizes data for accounting analysis related to gross profit. Suggests changes in and additions to accounting practices and procedures; implements such changes where applicable. Supports Internal and external Audits. Leads and engages team to develop a Continuous Improvement mindset. Leads global/local projects according to company's strategy. Demonstrates an understanding of AI concepts and frameworks, including awareness of responsible and ethical AI practices, and has experience generating effective prompts to boost efficiency and productivity. Qualifications Education Accounting, Economics, or Finance. Required Experience and Skills Knowledge of Revenue recognition procedures. Knowledge of general accounting processes, SAP knowledge and working experience. Skills on performance and development of teams. IFRS or USGAAP knowledge. At least 6 years of experience related to accounting. Advanced Microsoft Excel, interpersonal skills, understanding of accounting principles and practices, compliance knowledge (SOX and internal controls), knowledge on other systems such as Blackline, SAP modules and others.
