Kent is looking for a Process Engineer II to support ongoing projects. Responsibilities Design Preparation: Prepare and review designs (documents and plans) and incorporate comments, according to specific requests from the Engineering and Projects area, using the software and office package and standards, to comply with the requirements of each discipline. Registration of Man Hours: Record the consumption of Man Hours of each deliverable/activity in the Man Hours Registration and Control System established by the company, to be able to issue the products without negative lag of Man Hours. Technical Quality Management in Deliverables: Use the tools and methods established by the company, for the quality control of the deliverables, according to the specialty to which it is assigned, using the standards and control schemes that have been defined, in order to guarantee that in all projects the Quality and Compliance parameters defined in the Quality Plan of each project are met and in the Promise of Value. Estimation of Quantities of Work (According to the Specialty): Estimate and review quantities of work according to the specialty, based on the design documents, for budgetary purposes. Support in Technical Consultations of Clients; Support the Specialist Engineer and/or Project Manager in the technical queries made by the client, interacting in formal and periodic meetings with the Specialist Engineer or the Head of Specialty, in order to adequately resolve concerns, to be attentive to the modifications of scope that require the immediate application of change control actions. In addition to the responsibilities listed herein, the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management. These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employee's skills, capabilities, and role within the organization, ensuring that operational requirements can be met efficiently. Knowledge, Skills, Education, and Experience Professional in Chemical, Petroleum Engineering or according to the specialty. Basic knowledge in planning, budgeting, control and monitoring of project activities. Must show intermediate knowledge in reading MS Project reports or equivalent platform. Basic knowledge of AutoCAD. Proficiency in Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams). HSEQ knowledge. Knowledge of scope differences in documents prepared in conceptual studies, basic engineering and detailed engineering of processes in the hydrocarbons industry (crude oil and gas). Design of processes related to the hydrocarbon industry, especially: Surface facilities, pumping/compression stations, oil and gas pipelines, natural gas treatment processes. Design of industrial and auxiliary service systems related to process plants in the hydrocarbon industry. Knowledge and application of design of basic process and safety instrumented functions for the hydrocarbons industry. Communication Excellent command of Spanish. English (desirable) in both oral and written communication. Core Competencies 4.1 to 6 years of experience, according to the specialty. Knowledge, interpretation and application of Norms and Standards applicable to the Oil and Gas sector. Experience in designs in the Oil & Gas sector according to the specialty. HSSEQ The Employee shall observe the Health, Safety, Sustainability, Environment, and Quality rules of the Company; its clients and the governing authorities of the host country.
