Job Overview Senior Principal Instrumentation Designer to lead complex drafting and modeling projects, ensuring compliance with project requirements for wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, and associated documentation. Responsibilities Make responsible decisions regarding the direction of drafting and modeling deliverables, ensuring that all instrumentation wiring, loops, and related IC documentation meet project requirements. Work autonomously, enabling the planning and organization of tasks. Receive assignments, supervise activities or be supervised, maintain communication with team, collaborate with stakeholders, prioritize workload, achieve results, strive for ambitious goals, break down work into tasks, and take responsibility for deliverables. Qualifications 10+ years of experience in relevant disciplines with competency in industry codes and standards. Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D/3D, SmartPlant 3D, and AVEVA E3D (desirable), with knowledge of 3D modelling criteria for field instrumentation, wiring, and interconnection of control systems. Experience drafting and modeling tasks during conceptual, basic, FEL-3, and detailed engineering phases for industrial projects (Oil & Gas, Mining, Infrastructure). Proficient in Microsoft 365 Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams). Strong communication skills, ability to prepare presentations and reports, and collaborate with stakeholders.
