ID de la solicitud: Purpose Contributes to the overall success of the IT&S operation in Canada for Finance Services Unit, ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures. The Senior Analyst, Invoicing-Expense Management position is responsible for providing accurate and timely control and processing of operating expenditures. They work collaboratively with the Officers within their group, and across IT&S Finance, NBCAU and IT&S Areas, as required. Accountabilities Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge. Provides the following support for IT&S related to expense management matters. Performing effective expenditure processing, following established policies and procedures. Conduct data and information validation. Assist with the review of key IT&S Supplier, offshoring, software and professional services agreements. Assist with ensuring integrity of financial data, coordinate system run reports and maintain systems/databases. Work collaboratively within IT&S Finance and provide client-focused support, knowledge sharing and operational excellence. Provides timely analysis and reporting on expenditures, including: variance reporting, analysis within expenditure categories, operational analysis and accrual summary. The incumbent provides expense and operating expenditure input into the IT&S Finance management and business line reporting processes, as required. The Senior Analyst contributes to maintaining invoicing-expense management best practices, procedures and complying with Bank guidelines and principles. They participate in special projects and ad hoc analysis and reporting for the Director and management, as needed. Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions. Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk. Requirements Preferred University degree in business related subjects or last semesters students whose experience is more than 2 years of dealing with review / processing of invoices and the reporting / planning of expenditures is required. Conversational English since the candidate must ensure to be able to keep some conversation at multiple levels with analysts, managers, directors.
