Responsibilities Month-end Close Participate in the monthly close process, including processing journal entries under the guidance of senior accounting staff. Assist with analysis and review of General Ledger accounts. Prepare balance sheet support schedules for specific G/L accounts. Cash & Banking Record daily bank transactions accurately and in a timely manner. Assist with bank transfers, ACH and wire disbursements as directed. Support weekly cash flow reporting. Accounts Payable Assist with accounts payable processing and vendor invoice management. Support timely vendor payments under the direction of senior staff. Other Responsibilities Provide support during the annual audit process. Assist with employee expense and credit card reporting and help identify process improvements. Assist with ad-hoc general ledger account reviews as requested. Contribute to process improvements and support additional accounting needs as required. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. 1–2 years of accounting experience ; internship experience is welcome. Foundational knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles. Familiarity with general ledger concepts and basic financial analysis. Basic understanding of bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and cash management. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets. Experience with accounting software is preferred; experience with NetSuite and Salesforce CRM is a plus. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively and take direction effectively. Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and improve processes. Eagerness to grow within an accounting team. Full bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
