Software Engineer (FIX Protocol) at BairesDev As a Software Engineer specializing in the FIX Protocol, you will design and maintain high‑performance electronic trading connectivity solutions. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless communication between trading platforms and exchanges, optimizing order management systems for speed and reliability. What You’ll Do Design, develop, and maintain trading gateways and connectivity solutions using the FIX protocol. Implement and optimize order management systems (OMS) to handle high‑volume electronic trading. Ensure low‑latency messaging and reliable data transmission across financial exchange interfaces. Troubleshoot and resolve complex connectivity and protocol‑level issues in production trading environments. Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement financial messaging standards and technical specifications. What We Are Looking For 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Trading Systems, or Fintech. Proven expertise in implementing and maintaining the FIX protocol for electronic trading. Proficiency in building and optimizing order management systems and exchange gateways. Deep understanding of trading connectivity, financial messaging, and low‑latency networking. Strong background in troubleshooting complex connectivity issues and message routing. Advanced proficiency in English.
