We are hiring on behalf of our client, a global leader in the meal kit delivery industry that helps millions of customers cook healthy, homemade meals without the stress of meal planning or grocery shopping. As part of Zoolatech’s distributed engineering team, you will join the Market Innovation team - a fast-moving internal innovation group focused on building and delivering new product initiatives across multiple domains and services. Unlike traditional product teams, this team operates across different repositories, architectures, and backend ecosystems, taking ownership of complex discovery-driven projects from investigation to MVP delivery. By joining Zoolatech, you will work closely with senior engineering leadership and global stakeholders in a highly autonomous environment that values ownership, adaptability, strong communication, and engineering curiosity. Responsibilities Investigate and understand existing backend services and distributed systems Design and implement backend solutions primarily using Golang Work on MVP delivery from technical discovery through implementation Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders across multiple domains and teams Communicate technical findings and proposed solutions clearly Adapt quickly to new codebases, services, and technologies Contribute to scalable and maintainable backend architecture Skills Required Strong commercial experience with Golang Strong background in backend development, microservices, and distributed systems Experience building event-driven architectures using messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or AWS SQS/SNS Solid understanding of testing practices, including unit and end-to-end testing Strong knowledge of relational databases Ability to quickly understand and navigate unfamiliar codebases and services Strong problem-solving and backend investigation skills Good communication skills and ability to work independently English level sufficient for direct communication with international teams Nice to Have Experience with Python Familiarity with MongoDB, Elasticsearch, GraphQL, or JVM languages Experience working in fast-paced MVP or startup-like environments #J-18808-Ljbffr
