We are seeking a Senior Marketing Data Analyst with strong coding skills and exceptional attention to detail. This role is focused on data engineering, pipeline automation, and marketing analytics , beyond advanced statistical modeling. This role goes beyond reporting. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and automate data pipelines, analyze multi-channel marketing performance, and partner closely with marketing, product, and engineering teams to scale analytics capabilities. The ideal candidate is comfortable writing code, working with large datasets, and translating complex data into actionable insights that drive business growth. The candidate be responsible for building reliable data foundations that power marketing reporting, insights, and downstream analytics. Key Responsibilities Work directly with one of our clients, a major retail firm, to assist with their marketing analytics and data science initiatives. Develop, maintain, and automate marketing data pipelines across multiple data sources Develop ETL/ELT processes using Snowflake, SQL, and other data integration tools Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code for data ingestion, transformation, and validation Ensure high data quality, accuracy, and consistency across marketing datasets Partner closely with data scientists and business teams to support MMM, dashboards, and performance reporting Develop dashboards and reports to track KPIs such as CAC, LTV, conversion rates, funnel performance, retention etc. Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities to optimize campaigns and marketing spend. Troubleshoot data issues and proactively identify gaps or anomalies Create scalable workflows to support ongoing and future marketing analytics needs Develop presentations and reports with relevant findings and be able to present findings to key stakeholders. Core Competencies Excellent coding skills (hands on experience in Python and SQL required) Strong experience building and automating data pipelines Solid marketing domain knowledge (media channels, KPIs, attribution concepts, campaign performance, funnels etc.) Any working knowledge of marketing measurement approaches, i.e. econometric modeling, digital multi-touch attribution, experimental A/B testing, predictive modeling, etc. is a plus Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI). Exposure to machine learning or predictive modeling is a plus. Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy Comfortable working as a self-starter individual contributor Required Qualifications Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Statistics, Data Analytics, Digital Marketing or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience. 5-7 years of experience in marketing analytics or data analyst roles Industry experience with a Retail, CPG, or Marketing Analytics firm is preferred.
