Software Engineer (Splunk) at BairesDev As a Software Engineer specializing in Splunk, you will design and manage large‑scale log analytics and security information systems. You will translate complex data streams into actionable operational insights, ensuring high visibility and security across the enterprise infrastructure. What You’ll Do Develop and optimize complex SPL queries for efficient log search and advanced data analysis. Design and build interactive Splunk dashboards and visualizations to monitor system health and security metrics. Implement and manage SIEM solutions to proactively detect and respond to security threats. Configure and maintain Splunk architecture components, including indexers and search heads, at scale. Collaborate with engineering and security teams to define logging standards and data ingestion workflows. Ensure the reliability and performance of the Splunk platform through continuous monitoring and tuning. What We Are Looking For 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or Security Operations. Proven expertise in implementing and optimizing Splunk for log analytics and search. Proficiency in writing complex SPL queries and building dashboards at scale. Hands‑on experience with SIEM and security information management.
