Mechanical Engineer – HVAC & Energy Efficiency (Remote) We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer (3–5 years) with strong experience in HVAC systems, drafting, and modeling to support building performance assessments and long-term planning workflows. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive , comfortable following structured processes while proposing improvements and maintaining high technical accuracy in a remote environment. What You’ll Do Review building documentation and utility data for performance baselines. Translate technical documentation into structured modeling inputs and templates. Run HVAC/energy modeling workflows using internal tools. Evaluate energy efficiency measures and high-level cost/impact assumptions. Conduct sensitivity analyses and perform QA on model outputs. Prepare datasets, summaries, and visuals to support client-facing reports. Collaborate with distributed teams to resolve data or modeling challenges. Must Have Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Proven US based experience. 3–5 years of experience in HVAC. Strong understanding of building envelope & HVAC integration. Strong analytical & data validation skills; comfortable following SOPs. Ability to work independently, with clear documentation and structured communication. Nice to Have Experience with Jupyter Notebook . Analytical and proactive thinker , able to follow instructions and propose improvements. Exposure to parametric modeling, carbon reduction strategies, or optimization workflows.
