Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations within a high-volume industrial textile and engineered materials facility. The Production Manager will oversee production supervisors, operators, and support teams across multiple shifts and manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities Lead day-to-day production operations in a continuous manufacturing environment. Develop and execute production schedules to meet customer demand and plant objectives. Monitor KPIs including safety, quality, efficiency, scrap, downtime, and on-time delivery. Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and reduce waste. Analyze production data and implement corrective actions to address bottlenecks and process issues. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental requirements, and company policies. Lead root-cause investigations related to quality, equipment performance, and production losses. Manage labor utilization, staffing plans, and operating costs within budget targets. Support capital improvement projects, equipment upgrades, and process optimization initiatives. Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Textile, Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management. 5–10 years of manufacturing leadership experience with at least 3 years in a Production Manager or Operations Manager role. Experience in textile manufacturing, fiber production, polymers, automotive materials, or other continuous-process manufacturing environments preferred. Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, and continuous improvement methodologies. Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and production reporting tools.
