Teaching a 6th‑grade mathematics program that includes three 23‑student classes for a total of 16 instructional sessions per week. The teacher is also responsible for classroom supervision and for promoting integrated projects. Responsibilities Deliver 16 instructional sessions per week across three 23‑student classes. Required Knowledge Physical Science Topics Include: Introduction to Matter Solids, liquids and gases Matter and Energy in Earth's Systems Electricity and magnetism Math Topics Include: Multiplying fractions Division of fractions Division of fractions with fractions Division of mixed numbers Solve problems with rational numbers Add, subtract, and multiply decimals Divide whole numbers and decimals Multiply fractions Ideal Candidate Attributes Positive, inspiring, enthusiastic and flexible Caring, kind, and service‑oriented Internationally‑minded Able to work collaboratively and relate well with others Self‑motivated, innovative, and creative Adept in using technology, particularly with an iPad A systems thinker who can solve issues A commitment to environmental sustainability Qualifications Bachelor's degree in math, physics, or physical sciences (engineering, math, physics majors).
