Must‑have Skills Strong expertise in Kafka, including Kafka Streams and Kafka Connect.Airflow and dbt Core.Building skills and agents. Experience with at least one of TypeScript, Kotlin, Python, or Java. Hands‑on experience in managing Kafka infrastructure (not limited to AWS MSK). Proficiency in debugging, upgrades, and resolving Kafka broker issues. Solid understanding of Kafka configuration and scalability best practices. Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and Airflow. Experience implementing monitoring and maintenance strategies for Kafka infrastructure. Experience integrating Kafka with other platforms and systems. Nice‑to‑have AI Tooling Proficiency : Leverage one or more AI tools to optimize and augment day‑to‑day work, including drafting, analysis, research, or process automation. Provide recommendations on effective AI use and identify opportunities to streamline workflows. Experience in cloud environments such as AWS.
