Software Engineer (MongoDB) at BairesDev As a Software Engineer (MongoDB), you will build applications on MongoDB with expertise in schema design, aggregation pipelines, and sharding strategies. You will play a key role in optimizing database performance and managing Atlas cloud environments to support scalable, data-driven applications. What You’ll Do Design and implement efficient MongoDB schema models tailored for high-performance application requirements. Develop and optimize complex aggregation pipelines to perform advanced data analysis and transformation. Manage and scale MongoDB clusters using sharding strategies to ensure high availability and distributed data handling. Administer and optimize MongoDB Atlas cloud environments, ensuring secure and efficient database operations. Collaborate with development teams to integrate MongoDB best practices into the software development lifecycle. Monitor database performance and implement tuning measures to maintain optimal throughput and low latency. What We Are Looking For 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Database Administration, or Data Engineering. Proven expertise in building applications on MongoDB and designing complex schemas. Proficiency in developing and optimizing MongoDB aggregation pipelines. Hands‑on experience with MongoDB sharding strategies and cluster scaling. Deep understanding of MongoDB Atlas for cloud database management. Advanced proficiency in English.
