This highly complex solution is central to their operations and is characterized by extensive APIs and integrations across various platforms, while combining cloud-native applications with critical on-site hardware & custom software, demanding requirements for high performance and uptime , requiring failovers, extensive error handling, and seamless data synchronization. This project includes establishing the technical foundation for machine learning capabilities, custom software development, and designing repeatable, scalable templates to facilitate a national market rollout. About the Role We are looking for a Product Manager based in Colombia that will work closely with and support the Lead Product Owner located in the United States, who is responsible for the product vision and ensuring priorities are translated into clear, actionable outcomes for the development team. This role will primarily focus on Product Ownership, empowering the team to deliver a best-in-class product, while also covering Project Management responsibilities, including sprint execution, Jira management, reporting, and delivery tracking. This role acts as a key execution and coordination partner, ensuring product requirements are clearly defined, development work is well organized, and delivery remains on track. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-focused, collaborative, and comfortable working in a distributed, international team environment. This person is exceptional at translating big picture thinking and business goals into a product vision while also being able to work collaboratively and drive the execution of that vision. They’re comfortable with ideating and solutioning with stakeholders to arrive at product features, articulating the objectives of features, defining success for them, and collaborating with the team to create, validate, and iterate on them. In short, you’ll lead product development through all phases in collaboration with leadership, design, and engineering. Key Responsibilities Partner with the U.S.-based Lead Product Owner to shape and evolve the product vision, roadmap, and priorities in alignment with business goals. Own and continuously refine the product backlog, ensuring features and user stories reflect customer needs, business value, and technical constraints. Translate strategic product objectives into well-defined user stories and acceptance criteria that guide engineering execution. Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and architecture teams to explore solutions, assess trade-offs, and maximize product value. Support product discovery, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and product demos to validate outcomes and incorporate feedback. Oversee sprint execution and delivery coordination, maintaining visibility into progress, risks, and dependencies through Jira and Agile ceremonies. Required Skills and Experience Product and Technical Domain Expertise 4+ years of experience in a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar product-focused role within software development environments. Proven experience owning and refining product backlogs and working within Agile/Scrum teams to deliver customer and business value. Strong ability to translate product objectives and stakeholder needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria, using tools such as Jira. Experience collaborating closely with engineering teams on technical or enterprise-grade products, balancing product goals with technical considerations. Advanced / Fluent English, with the ability to communicate product context, priorities, and trade-offs clearly with the U.S.-based stakeholders. Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a strong sense of product ownership, prioritization, and follow-through. Teamwork, Communication and Workflow Exceptional written and verbal communication skills required for engaging with executive stakeholders, client partners, and technical development teams. Expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and using tools for requirements management (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps). Proven ability to thrive in a small team setting , requiring independence, proactive problem-solving, and continuous team collaboration. Experience in requirements analysis and documenting user stories, acceptance criteria, and non-functional specifications for a full-stack engineering team. Outstanding skills in articulating the product vision, strategy, and business objectives to the development team, ensuring clarity.
