A leading medical device company is seeking a Regional EHS Leader to support and drive EHS programs across Latin America. This role is ideal for a hands‑on EHS professional who enjoys being close to the business, solving problems, driving compliance, and ensuring execution. While corporate teams provide strategy and direction, this position will be responsible for translating those requirements into practical actions, ensuring implementation, follow‑up, and measurable results across the region. The successful candidate will act as the regional subject matter expert, partnering closely with local leadership teams to strengthen compliance, reduce risk, and foster a strong culture of safety and accountability. Key Responsibilities Drive the execution of regional EHS programs, policies, and initiatives across multiple countries in Latin America. Ensure compliance with applicable environmental, health, safety, and occupational regulations in each country. Monitor and support compliance with corporate EHS standards, procedures, and reporting requirements. Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, corrective action plans, and follow‑up activities. Conduct and coordinate EHS audits, inspections, risk assessments, and compliance reviews. Maintain oversight of regulatory requirements and proactively identify emerging compliance risks. Partner with business leaders to implement practical and sustainable EHS solutions. Develop and deliver EHS training and awareness programs to employees and managers. Support emergency preparedness, business continuity, and crisis response activities when required. Track key performance indicators (KPIs), prepare reports, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with global EHS teams to ensure regional alignment and execution of corporate priorities. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of progressive EHS experience in a multinational environment. Strong knowledge of occupational health, safety, environmental compliance, and regulatory requirements. Experience managing audits, inspections, incident investigations, corrective actions, and compliance programs. Ability to work independently and drive initiatives from planning through execution. Experience supporting multiple locations or countries is highly desirable. Intermediate English proficiency required (written and verbal), with the ability to participate in meetings, understand corporate communications, and interact with global stakeholders. #J-18808-Ljbffr
