About The Role Proactive Accounting Manager with strong technical and communication skills; responsible for local day‑to‑day accounting activities, ensuring compliance with local authorities and attending audit processes in Colombia and other Latin American countries. You will follow up on audit or internal findings, identify root causes, and provide recommendations to improve business processes and internal controls. Responsibilities Preparation, verification and posting of monthly and annual closing journal entries for legal entities in LATAM countries, primarily Colombia. Verification of accuracy and completeness of financial statements and trial balance reports. Daily finance/accounting activities for local teams pursuant to local accounting policies and corporate processes/regulations. Assistance with business development in local markets and ensuring accounting/finance policies are properly executed. Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts. Support of new product launches in LATAM, mainly Colombia. Ensure compliance of LATAM entities with local requirements and attend local audits. Preparation of annual financial statements. Continuous communication with Mexico and China accounting teams. Qualifications Accounting bachelor degree. CPA accountant (right to sign local financial statements). 7+ years of relevant accounting experience. Fluent English (mandatory). Strong understanding of IFRS and internal controls. Experience with local reporting requirements to authorities (e.g., Superintendencia de Sociedades). Strong verbal and written communication skills; strong analytical skills. Capacity to work under pressure, independently, and effectively in teams with partners. Proficiency with Oracle and Microsoft Office.
