About The Company Our company helps owner-led commercial equipment installation & service companies (HVAC, commercial kitchen equipment, AV, water treatment) streamline operations with ERP, automation, and real-time reporting—so they can scale without piling on headcount. The Opportunity You’ll deliver end-to-end Business Central implementations (discovery → design → build → test → train → go-live → hypercare) and ongoing optimization and support across Financials, Distribution, Project Accounting, and Field Service. You’ll also shape best practices, mentor clients, and (ideally) bring cross-over wisdom from Acumatica. What You’ll Do Run discovery workshops, map current/future processes, and produce fit-gap and SOWs. Configure Business Central (companies, ledgers, subaccounts, posting rules, item/warehouse/lot/serial, projects/tasks, service orders, schedules, security). Manage data migration (templates, cleansing, trial loads) and UAT. Train end users and admins; document SOPs and runbooks. Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvement (ticket triage, enhancements roadmap). Partner with Sales on scoping/demos and with Product/Engineering on integration and reporting needs. Must-Have Qualifications 3+ years in ERP implementations with at least 5 hands-on Business Central implementations (functional lead or senior consultant). Experience leading implementations, fit-gap, scoping, and client training. Strong domain depth in Financials and at least one of: Distribution, Project Accounting, Field Service (our core industry fit). Comfort building Queries/Dashboards/Financial Reports/Import Scenarios/Report Designer and using OData/REST for analytics/automation. Excellent stakeholder facilitation, written documentation, and change-management skills; proven project ownership. Nice to Have (Differentiators) Microsoft Acumatica implementation experience (Financials, Jobs/Projects, Service Mgt., Warehousing). Certifications: Business Central (Business Consultant, Advanced Financials/Distribution/Manufacturing); Microsoft BC Functional Consultant Associate . Experience in owner-led mid-market services or light-manufacturing/distribution. How You’ll Be Measured (first 90 days) Ship a client-facing artifact each month (e.g., dashboards + GI pack, ARM statements, import kit). Lead a successful CRP/UAT cycle and contribute a reusable template to our playbook.
