VIE-Colombia/Bogota-Regional Business Growth Coordinator Colombia-H/F Airbus Bogota, D.C., Capital District, Colombia Job Description The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) is a unique international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function. The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria. VIE Main Requirements European Union citizens (plus Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Monaco), graduates up to and including 28 years old (a V.I.E mission can begin no later than the day of the twenty-ninth birthday) Have fulfilled military obligations for their country, if any Must be registered on the Mon Volontariat International website before the age of 28 For more information: (in English, German, Italian and Spanish) The contract duration of VIE is between 6 to 24 months. A VIE to Support International projects for Business Development for Colombia has arisen within Airbus in Bogota. It will cover Airbus Commercial, Helicopters and Defence and Space. You will join the International department reporting to the Head of Business Growth for LatAm. The Head of Business Growth is responsible for representing Airbus in the LatAm region, driving regional business development, and building a strong, actionable network of key stakeholders and decision-makers within a designated portfolio of countries. The Regional Business Growth Coordinator Colombia reports directly to Airbus Country Representative Colombia (ACR Colombia) and the Head of International Business Growth - Latin America (HIB) to synchronize and integrate the efforts to ensure corporate objectives for the International Latin America organization are met. The Coordinator facilitates the ACR Colombia and HIB objectives and vision by focusing on the day‑to‑day activities and operations of the International office while enabling other members of the leadership team to work together and execute decisions in a more agile and decisive way. The Coordinator also helps to align positions from the different business divisions in front of external and internal stakeholders following the One Voice approach and supports the implementation of relevant actions in terms of local footprint and shared services following the One Roof principle. The Coordinator provides situational awareness to the HIB and the ACR Colombia, assisting the HIB and ACR Colombia in their role as facilitator and enabler on important strategic projects relevant to the regional and Colombian commercial strategy for the 3 business divisions. The Coordinator works behind the scenes to help solve problems, advise, and provide information to the HIB and ACR Colombia that is necessary for the effective daily function of the organization. The Coordinator is privy to highly confidential discussions and therefore needs to exercise exceptional discretion, ethical behaviour and tact to maintain the complete trust of all those with whom they interact. The Regional Coordinator serves to achieve organisational effectiveness by focusing on the HIB directed critical strategic areas of the company that have a direct impact on the business. Provide the HIB and ACR Colombia with analysis and recommended solutions/options regarding decisions to be made or problems to solve. The position requires a professional with a proven background in delivering results in the most challenging conditions. Responsibilities 25% External Affairs Supports the ACR in building and maintaining privileged relationships with high level stakeholders in the public sector, including government authorities, members of the armed forces, embassies and influence and best defend Airbus interests in the country. Supports the ACR in advocating for key issues strategic for all divisions sales campaigns in the country. Coordinated with Airbus divisions, HIB, and the International team in Miami, supports ACR in the representation of the company in high-level forums. Supports any matter that is required from the ACR and the HIB that relates to government relations, with strict coordination with the divisions. 25% Business Growth Supports information gathering on political and competitive trends strategic for key campaigns in the country, with focus on Defence, Space and Helicopters. In coordination with the ACR Colombia and HIB, consolidates monthly brief, or ad‑hoc updates when relevant on business intelligence, competition, events and conferences. Coordinates all relevant actions and activities in support to the implementation of the business development strategy in particular for defence, space and helicopters in the country. 25% One Voice / One Roof Monitors all One Roof related actions for the Country, when relevant and in strict coordination with the support functions (HR, Legal & Compliance, IM, Finance, Communications, Procurement). Supports in following‑up, drum beating and closing One Roof related actions. Support the ACR in all One Voice related initiatives including organization, agenda, presentations preparation. Support ACR in the management of Sponsorship and Donation. 25% Sustainability Advocacy Supports the ACR in promoting sustainability roadmap, projects and partnerships in particular related to sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). Supports the ACR in mapping and scouting local stakeholders in consideration of Airbus global sustainability priorities and criteria. Maintains an accurate database on local SAF and CDR intelligence and Field data in alignment with the regional SAF Ambassador. Required Skills and Experience 1 to 3 yr background experience in management positions in Consulting/Strategy/Sales/Marketing/Business Development. Work experience dealing with ministries and public entities, in particular on defense topics. Experience in highly complex multi-national environments. Additional Skills Fast learner, Negotiation, Command skills. Influencing, Strategic Thinking, Interpersonal skills savvy, Organization Agility Savvy, Customer Orientation. Previous experience working in international/ multicultural/ cross country environments. Excellent organizational and execution skills. Being able to follow up on emails and agendas. Experience working with or in public entities. Ability to navigate challenging working environments. Be able to handle sensitive and confidential information in a professional and discreet manner. Knowledge of Latin America markets, business environment modus operandi would be a plus. Experience with Google Suite, Microsoft Office applications. Be flexible in the daily tasks to be performed. Be able to create customer intimacy with strong empathy to different stakeholders. Language Skills English and Spanish full proficiency written and spoken + another language highly appreciated (Portuguese, French and/or German).
