Overview Job Location (Short): Bogotá, D.C., Colombia Workplace Type: Remote Req Id: 2747 Responsibilities Octave is seeking a Senior Implementation Analyst to join their team. Qualified candidates work on projects with technical and functional skills. This role will serve our customers across the LATAM region. It is a full-time position involving a mix of remote work. The successful candidate should reside in Colombia/Chile/Argentina. Frequently interact with customers. Participate in the project implementation cycle. Work directly with clients to create process documentation (functional requirements/designs/lessons learned). Design solutions by analyzing requirements. Must have the ability to estimate the effort required to build the deliverables. Apply analytical and technical thinking focused on delivering a solution to customer’s workflow implementation issues, identifying alternatives and providing recommendations. Work in technical configuration & integration teams, provide technical/functional support to the team, and develop configurations and customizing within our software EcoSys. Prepare testing scripts and materials; support and perform unit and integrated testing. Work with the team to develop EcoSys-specific training. Execute training for client users. Possess strong interpersonal skills and effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders. Education / Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or relevant technical disciplines is required Experience in sectors such as Mining, Oil and Gas, Construction, Engineering industries, IT Consulting. Minimum of 5 years. Experience using or implementing packages of software such as ERP, scheduling and cost control software. Experience in Project Implementation. Desirable knowledge of project management methodologies. Certifications are a plus Knowledge of software implementation approaches, waterfall and agile. Experience with software tools such as P6, Microsoft Project, Aconex, SAP / Oracle ERP, Oracle Unifier, Power BI or similar. Basic proficiency with database systems (Oracle, SQL Server), SQL statements Basic programming know-how such as Visual Basic, .Net, Java, C++. Basic integration know-how such as APIs / ETL. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Ability to manage client expectations Self-learning ability Required languages: Native Spanish and intermediate English.
