Senior Data Engineer – Americas We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to build and maintain a robust data platform that empowers analytics, business intelligence, and data science teams. You will design and optimize data models, ETL pipelines, and semantic layers, ensuring high‑quality, reliable, and scalable data flows. The role offers a hands‑on environment and collaboration across product, engineering, and operations teams. Responsibilities Build, maintain, and evolve the semantic layer, creating well‑documented dbt models to support trusted business metrics and self‑service analytics. Develop and manage ETL/orchestration pipelines using tools such as Fivetran, Stitch, dbt Cloud, or Airflow to ensure reliable and scalable data flow. Collaborate closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to enable high‑quality, AI‑ready data access. Continuously improve model performance, optimize costs, maintain documentation, and enhance governance practices. Contribute to the design and development of a modern analytics stack that supports current reporting needs and future machine‑learning applications. Support cross‑functional teams by delivering reliable, scalable, and efficient data solutions aligned with organizational goals. Requirements 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience as a Data Engineer or Analytics Engineer in fast‑paced environments. Advanced proficiency in SQL, dbt, and Python. Experience with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake (or similar). Familiarity with ETL/orchestration tools like Fivetran, Stitch, or Airflow. Proven ability to collaborate with analytics, product, and data science teams on shared modeling and enablement goals. Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to balance pragmatism and technical rigor. Remote‑friendly, based in the Americas; experience in GCP or Terraform is a plus.
