We are looking for a Senior Database Administrator with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure to lead the performance, scalability, and reliability of our database platforms. This role will play a key part in evolving our data ecosystem toward a modern Snowflake -based architecture, while ensuring production stability across critical workloads. Own and manage database platforms within Azure cloud environments Lead database performance optimization, including query tuning and workload management Drive incident management, root cause analysis, and long-term remediation Define and implement database scalability and capacity planning strategies Oversee database security, access control, and compliance practices Collaborate with Engineering, Data, and Product teams to scale data infrastructure Support and guide the transition toward Snowflake and modern data platforms Establish best practices, standards, and governance for database operations Mentor junior DBAs and provide technical leadership Required Qualifications (Non-negotiable) 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure (mandatory) Proven experience optimizing database performance in production environments Strong experience with database monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution Deep knowledge of SQL and database internals Experience with database security, roles, and access management Experience with Snowflake or modern cloud data platforms Experience migrating databases to Azure or cloud‑native architectures Familiarity with data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes Exposure to DevOps/DataOps practices What You'll Bring Ownership mindset over critical systems and business impact Ability to lead initiatives and influence technical direction Mentorship and cross‑team collaboration skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
