AI Engineer Senior – Agentic Systems | Grupo DEACERO If you've configured Claude Code from scratch, built your own MCPs, and have opinions on when not to use an agent — keep reading. We're building a small, senior-only team inside Grupo DEACERO's Digital Transformation division. The mission: extract decades of embedded business logic from SQL Server / ASP.NET / C# monoliths and rebuild it as intelligent, cloud-native systems on GCP. You won't be doing POCs. You'll be shipping. The role: You'll work directly with the Technical Lead and AI Architect. No hand-holding. You own components end-to-end — design, build, eval, deploy, observe. What you'll be doing: Setting up and configuring agentic development environments: Claude Code (claude.ai/code), Cursor, Windsurf — including custom MCP servers tailored to the codebase (SQL Server connectors, legacy code parsers, business-rule extractors). Implementing agentic patterns (ReAct, Reflection, Tool Use, Multi-Agent) using Google ADK, LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGen — picking the right tool, not the popular one. Building RAG pipelines that actually work in production: chunking strategy, embedding selection, retrieval evaluation, re-ranking, context window management. Integrating Gemini and Claude via Vertex AI and LiteLLM. You know the latency/cost/quality tradeoffs and you make decisions based on them. Writing evaluations before writing features. LangSmith or W&B for tracing. Regression suites for agent behavior. You debug agents the way a senior SWE debugs distributed systems. Deploying to GKE or Cloud Run. Infra as code (Terraform). GitHub Actions for CI/CD. You don't wait for DevOps. Hard requirements: 5+ years as a hands-on SWE or ML/AI Engineer — actual production systems, not side projects. Real experience with agentic frameworks (LangGraph, Google ADK, CrewAI, AutoGen) — not just having imported them. Claude Code configured and used in a real workflow. Bonus if you've written or contributed to MCP servers. Python as primary language. TypeScript is a plus. Strong testing and documentation discipline. GCP or equivalent cloud-native experience. You've debugged a Cloud Run cold start and a GKE networking issue. You've worked with MS SQL Server or similar legacy systems and know how to read stored procedures without complaining. To apply: CV/LinkedIn + GitHub URL showing at least one agentic project with tools, orchestration, evals, and documentation. No GitHub, no review. Grupo DEACERO does not charge candidates at any stage. Official channels: LinkedIn, OCC Mundial. Equal opportunity employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
