This role also requires handling broader full-stack development tasks as needed. You will take ownership of maintaining, improving, and expanding a high-complexity WordPress site, while contributing to additional development initiatives across the stack. Key Responsibilities Maintain and enhance a complex, custom WordPress site with advanced functionality. Support and troubleshoot integrations with QuickBooks Desktop . Implement custom themes, plugins, and site features as required. Optimize site performance, security, and reliability. Handle a variety of general development tasks across the stack (front end + back end). Develop new features, fix bugs, and ensure stable, high-quality code delivery. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand technical needs and deliver solutions. Diagnose and resolve issues within WordPress core, custom components, and integrations. Regularly review code for quality, scalability, and adherence to best practices. Ensure seamless functionality across environments. Required Qualifications 10+ years of professional development experience. Deep expertise in WordPress, including custom development. Proven experience maintaining and supporting complex, customized WordPress systems . Experience with QuickBooks Desktop integrations (must support or handle them as part of the role).
