Internship Overview The KE Desktop Systems Administrator internship offers exposure to desktop and administrative roles within Kimball Electronics Shared Services. The intern will primarily work on desktop maintenance and support issues with the Endpoint team members in Jasper, IN. Responsibilities Build, wipe, and maintain computers. Document and maintain assets. Assist with support issues. Act as backup to Support Center KESC Support Mailbox and Call Center. Process accounts as needed. Printer maintenance, management, and troubleshooting. Assist with New User onboarding. Monitor, accept, and transfer support tickets and requests within FreshService. Recognize possible problematic trends and facilitate corrective action. Follow up with Level 2 Support on status of open issues to ensure resolution. Required Qualifications High School Graduate pursuing a job in IT or holding a degree in IT or Computer Science. US Citizen or Legal Resident of the United States. Reside in the Jasper area, or willing to commute to be in the office. Preferred Qualifications Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Knowledge of PC imaging and deployment practices. Knowledge of Windows troubleshooting. Ability to adapt to changes in environment. Ability to multitask and thrive in a collaborative team environment.
