Join our Network Infrastructure Team! The Edge Platform team oversees the planning, building, maintaining, and operating of Akamai’s global platform. The team designs, develops, and deploys essential technologies, including hardware, software, and network infrastructure that support Akamai’s products. The goal is to ensure reliable availability and optimal performance for customers worldwide. Role Overview As a Network Infrastructure Engineer in a maintenance role, you will remotely diagnose hardware and networking problems, facilitate router repairs, manage Akamai’s hardware assets, and coordinate with datacenter and ISP staff. You will work with a worldwide team of field technicians and collaborate closely with external partners and internal teams.
