To provide expert-level administration and strategic oversight of Microsoft SQL Server environments across TekniPlex’s global operations. The SQL Database Administrator will ensure the security, availability, and performance of multiple SQL Server instances, lead automation and disaster recovery efforts, and coordinate with vendors and partners to support application migrations in different countries. This role is critical to maintain resilient, scalable, and secure database solutions in a complex, multi-instance landscape, while supporting business continuity and operational excellence across international sites. Plan and execute version upgrades, security patches, and enhancements with minimal operational impact. Monitor and optimize database performance, resource usage, and indexing. Develop PowerShell and T-SQL scripts for recurring administrative tasks (backups, health checks, capacity management, reporting). Implement security policies, access control, encryption, and auditing. Over 5 years of experience in the administration of SQL Server, MySQL, and MariaDB databases, as well as operating systems in Windows-based environments. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English A minimum B2 level of English is essential to apply for this position Expertise in SQL Server versions 2008–2022.
