Overview Audubon Construction Solutions is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented I&E Estimator to support our Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) construction operations. This role will be based out of our Bogotá, Colombia office and will play a key role in developing accurate, competitive estimates for industrial I&E construction projects, including compressor stations, meter stations, processing facilities, and midstream infrastructure. Responsibilities Analyze bid documents, construction drawings, and specifications to develop I&E construction estimates Develop quantity takeoffs for conduit, wire, panels, terminations, lighting, controls, and instrumentation Interpret one-line diagrams, loop diagrams, panel schedules, and control schematics Solicit pricing from vendors and subcontractors for materials and services Support pricing of labor, equipment, and indirects using historical data and productivity factors Build structured estimate packages using estimating software and Excel Participate in internal estimate reviews and turnover meetings Assist with the development of budgets, change orders, and scope clarifications Coordinate with procurement and construction teams to ensure alignment with project execution plans Support proposal preparation, bid strategy development, and customer presentations as needed Required Qualifications Minimum 3–5 years of experience estimating I&E construction projects in oil & gas, energy, or heavy industrial sectors Strong working knowledge of I&E systems, materials, and installation practices Experience reading and interpreting P&IDs, electrical drawings, and control documentation Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with estimating platforms (e.g., InEight, RSMeans, Sage Estimating, or similar) preferred Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal) Bilingual: English-Spanish fluency. Fluency in English (spoken and written) is critical, as this role will interface daily with project teams and stakeholders across the U.S. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications Prior experience working for an EPC or self-perform construction company Degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Industrial Engineering, or related field Familiarity with U.S. industry codes and standards (NEC, API, ISA) Ready to take the next step in your career?
