Position Overview The CENCA Business Practice Lead leads the strategy and plan for implementation of all compliance programs in CENCA in collaboration with the LAMEX Compliance Committee and the LAMEX Leadership Team. The position will be part of the LAMEX cluster Leadership team and reports to the LAMEX Managing Director. In addition, the Business Practice Lead will remain directly responsible for implementation of the appropriate business practices in select market(s). The Business Practice organization serves as the main connection point between the Commercial organization and the Office of Ethics & Compliance ("OEC") as well as International Legal & Compliance ("ILC"). Responsibilities Develop and lead the strategy behind the implementation of Global compliance frameworks in LAMEX. Lead a team of BPM in LAMEX, ensuring their performance and professional development through ongoing leadership and coaching. Support the Managing Director to enhance awareness on our Company’s Values and Standards, Corporate Policies and Compliance Policies, SOPs and Guidance. Collaborate with leaders in the LAMEX (Market Leads and functional leads) to identify and mitigate near and long-term compliance and business risks. Take a strong and active role in ensuring consistent and effective compliance standards in the organization, including but not limited to tracking and monitoring key areas of risk through systems such as Pulse, etc. Lead planning and coordination of LAMEX and home country Compliance Committee, including applicable sub-committees such as Country Grants and Donations Committee, etc. Facilitate regular self-audits of HCP interactions and documentation/reporting of results. Lead critical standardization and simplification initiatives across LAMEX. Serve as primary point of contact for Audit and Risk Assessment processes. Qualifications Strong leadership and collaboration capabilities. Strong expertise in all compliance related aspects, including laws, regulations, procedures, policies and SOPs; awareness of international guidelines and rules. Prior people management experience is required. Prior experience of managing teams across borders will be an advantage. Excellent understanding of pharmaceutical companies’ processes. Demonstrated ability to influence senior team members. Strong cultural awareness. High ethical standards, being a role model of business compliance and integrity. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Language – Must be fluent in English. Bachelor’s Degree required. Minimum 5 years of Audit, Finance, Compliance, or comparable experience in the healthcare industry, preferably in pharmaceuticals or medical devices.
