About the Role As a Senior ICT Systems Engineer , you will be responsible for the day‑to‑day maintenance of the ICT equipment of the company, both locally and on remote sites when required. You will provide up to Level 3 support for internal issues via the ticketing system or other communication channels used by the company. You also trigger and participate in ICT and Infosec projects to make new deployments or improvements over existing implementations. Additionally, you will assist the Malta ICT Team and the Head of Infosec with queries and/or implementations related to IT, data protection, and information security, aligned with internal procedures and local regulations (Europe and Colombia). Your Responsibilities Support the IT strategy to help the company meet its goals and long‑term vision. Timely reaction to and resolution of all fault tickets, including communication with the client, to ensure understanding and promote client confidence in the ticketing process. Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems, applications, and security monitoring tools. Maintain Intune, Jira, Confluence, and other cloud applications managed by ICT. Maintain Security Monitoring systems and Vulnerability Scan Tools. Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks via Intune and other technologies. Communicate with employees or clients to set up systems or resolve issues, via face‑to‑face, chat, or telephone. Monitor, analyze, and report security events and incidents to identify irregular activity and security violations. Troubleshoot system, network problems, and security events/incidents. Diagnose and solve hardware or software faults, replacing parts as required. Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports. Support the roll‑out of new applications. Prioritize and manage many open cases at one time. Test and evaluate new technologies. Provide support to internal users via the ticketing system, both local and remote. Participate in a rotating on‑call system to assist during out‑of‑office hours, receiving compensation in the form of an added allowance.
