Overview Procurement Business Partner – Colombia & Argentina. This position combines country-level procurement business partnering for Argentina and Colombia with regional category leadership contribution. The role will act as the Procurement Country Business Partner for both markets, serving as the primary procurement lead for country leadership teams and key functional stakeholders. As Country Business Partner, the role ensures procurement strategies are aligned with country business priorities and translated into sourcing, supplier management, risk management, and value delivery plans that enable commercial execution, support financial stewardship, and strengthen supplier partnerships. In parallel, the role is expected to contribute as a Regional Category Champion for a defined indirect spend category. Responsibilities Serve as a trusted procurement advisor to country leadership and key stakeholders, ensuring procurement strategies are closely aligned with business objectives and operational priorities. Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial, finance, and functional leadership to position Procurement as a strategic partner in decision-making. Translate business priorities into actionable procurement initiatives that deliver measurable value, including cost optimization, supplier-led innovation, risk mitigation, and operational efficiency. Support country business planning by aligning procurement activities with financial targets, operational priorities, and global procurement strategies. Champion procurement initiatives across the country, driving adoption of procurement processes, tools, and governance frameworks to ensure consistency, compliance, and effective stakeholder engagement. Manage supplier relationships and support supplier performance governance, ensuring suppliers deliver against business needs, service expectations, compliance requirements, and value commitments. Drive procurement policy adherence, risk management, and compliance with applicable sourcing, contracting, and supplier governance requirements. Track and communicate procurement value delivery, including savings, pipeline opportunities, value realization, risk mitigation, and supplier performance improvements. Contribute the development, execution, and continuous improvement of regional and/or global category strategies through strong collaboration with Global Category Leads and regional procurement peers. Act as Regional Category Champion for an assigned indirect spend category, supporting regional alignment, market insight generation, and execution of category priorities across countries. Provide deep insights into regional market dynamics, supplier capabilities, and demand trends to inform strategy development and enhance decision-making. Identify and leverage opportunities to scale, foster supplier innovation, and maximize value delivery across countries within the region. Ensure strong alignment between country sourcing activities and broader category strategies, maximizing regional impact, efficiency, and consistency. Qualifications Minimum of 4 years of experience in procurement, business partnering, category management, or related fields within a complex, global organization. Proven track record of leading projects, programs, or resource allocation, with experience either managing small teams or operating as a senior individual contributor driving strategy execution. Ability to navigate and influence within matrixed organizations, across functions, geographies, and leadership levels. Strong experience managing end-to-end sourcing initiatives, including strategy development, cross-functional execution, and value realization. Demonstrated ability to partner with senior stakeholders, influencing decision-making through excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and relationship-building skills. Solid commercial acumen, with the ability to translate market insights and business needs into effective procurement and category strategies. Experience in developing and executing category strategies, aligning procurement activities with broader business priorities. Strong analytical capabilities, leveraging data and insights to drive decision-making and enable supplier-led innovation. Strong change management and implementation skills, supporting the adoption of procurement strategies and business initiatives across diverse organizations. Full professional proficiency in English and Spanish is required, with strong communication and executive presentation skills. Preferred Qualifications Analytical mindset focused on performance metrics and value management, encompassing the generation, realization, and recognition of pipeline value. Familiarity with indirect procurement categories such as marketing services, consulting, professional services, or commercial operations. Experience supporting regional or global category strategies in collaboration with global procurement teams.
