Technical Service Engineer – Bogota, Colombia Perform field service activities including installation, preventive and corrective maintenance, upgrades, technical support, and service training for customers and distributors in Colombia and other Spanish‑speaking LATAM regions. Key Responsibilities Ensure completion of service order tasks in our system in compliance with the current SLA policy. Monitor technical customer complaints, escalates issues to the appropriate stakeholders and follows up until closure. Create technical service quotations and manage spare parts orders. Monitor spare parts safety stock levels and consumption, and prepare and submit replenishment orders with the Import department. Ensure organization and maintenance of the service workshop following 5S principles. Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset, strong collaboration, cooperation, and sense of ownership, while considering cross‑departmental input. Support the implementation and availability of the HLM service contracts portfolio, including new packages and differentiated contract options promoted by the manager. Follow and apply SOPs for the Technical Service department based on the company’s business model. Utilize the technical software management system to manage and track service calls. Monitor service operation performance indicators, record service documentation, and ensure timely usage and uploading of all relevant data. Ensure continuous improvement of service procedures in collaboration with the Quality department. Skills and Experience Field service activity experience. Experience with medical devices desirable. Knowledge and experience with extracorporeal circulation machines desirable. Travel required: approximately 75%. Field‑based / on‑site position. Advanced spoken and written English – mandatory. Education Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or a related engineering field.
