Descripción del puesto The Senior Quality Engineer is responsible for leading quality assurance strategies and ensuring high-quality software delivery across projects. This role drives test automation initiatives, defines testing standards, and mentors team members while collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams. The Senior QE plays a key role in identifying risks, improving QA processes, and implementing scalable testing solutions aligned with business goals. Responsabilidades Lead the design and implementation of QA strategies, processes, and best practices across projects. Define and oversee test plans, automation frameworks, and test coverage to ensure high-quality releases. Drive test automation initiatives, including selecting tools, frameworks, and approaches. Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to junior and mid-level QA engineers. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (engineering, product, stakeholders) to ensure alignment on quality goals. Identify risks, dependencies, and quality gaps proactively and propose mitigation plans. Define and track QA metrics, reporting testing progress, results, and areas of improvement. Lead continuous improvement initiatives for QA processes, tools, and methodologies. Participate in estimation (LOE), resource planning, and QA strategy definition for new projects. Promote knowledge sharing, training sessions, and QA craft initiatives across the team. Cualificaciones Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or related field. 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with strong focus on test automation. Proven experience designing and implementing automation frameworks and QA strategies. Strong knowledge of API, backend, and frontend testing. Experience working in Agile environments. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Advanced English level (B2+ or higher). Experience mentoring or leading QA engineers.
