GFT is seeking a Lead Murex Engineer to join a large-scale Capital Markets transformation program. We are looking for a senior technology leader with deep Murex MX.3 expertise, strong architectural vision, and a proven track record leading complex delivery programs within global financial institutions. Qualifications 9+ years of hands‑on experience with Murex MX.3 across Front‑to‑Back Capital Markets environments. Proven experience leading enterprise‑scale Murex architecture and solution design initiatives. Expert knowledge of multiple MX.3 domains, including Front Office, Market Risk, Credit Risk, Collateral Management, Settlement, Accounting, and Regulatory Reporting. Strong expertise in Murex integration architecture, including APIs, Datamarts, interface frameworks, and batch orchestration. Deep understanding of financial products across asset classes such as Rates, FX, Equities, Credit, and Commodities. Experience leading and mentoring distributed engineering teams within large‑scale delivery programs. Strong background in Murex platform upgrades, capacity planning, production stability, and operational excellence. Experience engaging with executive‑level business and technology stakeholders. Professional English communication skills (written and spoken). Responsibilities Define and own the Murex technical architecture, platform strategy, and engineering standards. Lead Murex‑related technical workstreams and ensure alignment between business goals and platform capabilities. Serve as the primary technical escalation point for complex incidents and architectural decisions. Drive solution design across the complete MX.3 lifecycle, including Trading, Risk, Collateral, Settlement, Accounting, and Reporting. Govern upgrade strategies, platform evolution roadmaps, and long‑term architectural direction. Mentor and develop Murex Engineers across multiple seniority levels. Collaborate with senior business stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into scalable platform solutions. Establish governance processes, quality standards, and non‑functional requirements. Partner with architects, infrastructure teams, and Murex vendors to shape the platform roadmap. Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on automation, observability, and delivery excellence. Nice to Have Experience working with RBC or other Tier‑1 global financial institutions. Participation in large‑scale Murex transformation, migration, or modernization programs. Knowledge of cloud‑native deployments, containerization, and Kafka‑based event‑driven architectures. Experience supporting regulatory initiatives such as FRTB, Basel, EMIR, or MiFID II. Murex Professional Certifications. Background in consulting, solution architecture, or client advisory roles.
