We are seeking a Backend Software Engineer to join our engineering team, focused on building and operating scalable backend services and data-driven systems. This role is ideal for engineers with strong experience in .NET and hands‑on exposure to cloud‑based data platforms. You will play a key role in designing backend services that interact with high‑volume data systems, particularly Snowflake, while ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain backend services using C# and .NET Build and manage RESTful APIs and distributed systems Develop cloud‑native applications using Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, Storage) Work extensively with Snowflake and SQL‑based systems to support data‑driven applications Write, optimize, and tune complex queries for performance and scalability Collaborate with data and platform teams on data architecture and integration Participate in system design and architecture discussions Monitor and troubleshoot production systems as part of an on‑call rotation Implement observability using tools such as Grafana and OpenTelemetry Required Qualifications Strong experience in C# and .NET backend development Proven experience building and operating backend services and APIs Hands‑on experience with Snowflake and/or SQL Server / Azure SQL Strong SQL skills, including query optimization and performance tuning Experience working with cloud platforms , preferably Microsoft Azure Solid understanding of scalable system design and data‑intensive applications Preferred Qualifications Experience with ASP.NET / ASP.NET Core Familiarity with Azure Functions, App Services, and Storage Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Git and Azure DevOps Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (Grafana, OpenTelemetry) Scripting experience using PowerShell, Bash, or Python #J-18808-Ljbffr
