Responsibilities Serve as the primary contact for customers to handle contracts and provide shipping documentation support, ensuring accurate and timely issuance of shipping documents while maintaining high standards of customer service. Drive revenue growth by acquiring new customers, maintaining existing relationships, and expanding PIL 0market share in the shipping and logistics industry. Download and process daily booking requests and communicate results to customers within the next period. Address customer demands promptly and coordinate with internal teams (Documentation, Sales) to ensure smooth operations. Ensure accuracy of routes, weight, POL/PODs, commodities, temperatures, and other details in PIL systems. Amend bookings and maintain records; file customers0particularities to ensure consistency in PIL service. Follow up on bookings from regular/BID customers to ensure timely arrivals. Provide excellent phone attendance and customer experience; assist customers with problem solving and resolve grievances with internal departments. Promote and use Pocket PIL to migrate volume from other platforms where appropriate. Process shipping instructions, submit customs manifests, and ensure compliance with local customs regulations. Manage the issuance of import and export invoices (local charges, demurrage, detention, freight, port charges, and other fees) and issue delivery orders. Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person with professionalism and courtesy; provide timely shipment status updates and documentation readiness. Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth documentation flow and customer satisfaction. Qualifications & Experience Bachelors degree in business, logistics, or related field. Experience in customer service within the shipping or logistics industry and experience in sea shipping documentation. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software. Knowledge of import/export processes, documentation, and invoicing. Ability to deal with international clients and understand technical documents. English level: preferably B1, B2, or higher for speaking, listening, and reading. Must Have Organized, able to follow regulations and procedures in a strictly regulated environment. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Customer-oriented mindset with problem-solving abilities. Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive information. Fluency in Spanish; intermediate English (reading/writing). Team spirit and adaptability.
