What You'll Do Design, deploy, and manage production-grade Trino or Presto clusters to support federated querying. Optimize query performance across various underlying data sources by tuning execution plans and resource allocation. Implement and maintain connectors for heterogeneous data stores, ensuring seamless data federation. Collaborate with data teams to define distributed SQL strategies and query governance across the organization. Monitor system health and throughput to ensure reliable access to real-time and batch data insights. What We Are Looking For 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or Distributed Systems. Proven expertise in running and optimizing federated SQL queries using Trino or Presto. Proficiency in optimizing query performance across heterogeneous data stores and distributed SQL engines.
