Overview Join Gallagher as a Placement & Support Specialist and play a vital role in ensuring seamless insurance placements. Your work will directly contribute to operational excellence and peerless client service, helping businesses thrive and communities prosper. How you'll make an impact Compile templates using information from internal systems to initiate renewals and set up contract records. Gather and analyse information, liaising with internal teams to conduct due diligence on new clients and reinsurers, and establish relevant system records. Review market security information on carriers, ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with the Compliance and Sanctions Team to perform sanctions checks where required. Monitor marketing sheets, ensuring all necessary checks and approvals are completed. Produce data and statistics to support the placement of clients’ reinsurance programmes. Maintain electronic placing files in an organised manner, adhering to GEM guidelines, and proactively liaise with broking teams to ensure all policies and compliance requirements are met. Analyse contracts and placing files to ensure accurate entry of contract records and workflow items within the transactional broking system. Review and interpret reinsurance contracts to facilitate timely billing within agreed timescales. Generate accounting entries and produce essential documentation, including cover notes, debit notes, and closing instructions. About you Bachelor’s degree in Business, Administration, Law, or a numerical/analytical discipline, other degree fields will also be considered. Fluency in Spanish and English is essential, Portuguese is a plus. 2+ years of experience in Broker Support, Premium Billing, or similar functions. You can analyze complex data, interpret contracts, and explain technical details in simple terms. You’re organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in managing workflows.
