As a Consultant in our platform engineering practice, you will be working directly with customers in this role implementing solutions to support modern networking and infrastructure. We are a hybrid work environment with team members coming into one of our offices at least 1x/week. What You Will Do Design, implement, and support cloud infrastructure solutions primarily within AWS environments. Build and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available networking architectures, including VPCs, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, VPN, Route 53, load balancing, and hybrid connectivity solutions. Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar automation frameworks. Implement and support cloud networking, security, monitoring, and operational best practices. Collaborate with application, platform, security, and architecture teams to enable reliable and efficient cloud solutions. Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure and networking issues across enterprise environments. Support cloud migration, modernization, and optimization initiatives. Contribute to automation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement efforts across cloud environments. What You Will Bring Experience designing, implementing, and operating AWS cloud infrastructure in enterprise-scale environments. Strong expertise in AWS networking services, including VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, VPN, Route 53, Network Load Balancers, Application Load Balancers, and security controls. Solid understanding of cloud networking concepts, including routing, DNS, firewalls, network segmentation, hybrid connectivity, and network security. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools. Familiarity with cloud security, monitoring, observability, and operational best practices. Experience with scripting and automation using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar languages. AWS certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Advanced Networking Specialty, or equivalent experience are highly desirable. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
