Role Overview As a Savoury Application Specialist you will lead, manage, and promote different types of projects, focusing on both external and internal customers, understanding the progress of each project, and ensuring compliance with requirements in terms of time, quality, and innovation regarding formulations and ingredients, with the purpose of delivering high-quality products and generating business opportunities. Responsibilities Standardize new formulations and identify new ingredients that create value in customers' products, in order to generate business opportunities. Report technical updates to customers, providing relevant information for their product portfolio to strengthen customer loyalty. Support customers in the development of formulations and execution of industrial trials to strengthen technical and commercial relationships, build intimacy, and create new business opportunities. Conduct product stability evaluations as required by customers and by Givaudan, delivering a final report that enables decision‑making and the necessary actions to ensure the delivery of products with optimal quality. Ensure timely delivery of applications to the corresponding areas to allow the smooth development of projects. Deliver technical presentations designed by the region to create value and strengthen commercial relationships. Prepare laboratory samples (lab demos) to proactively present to customers during innovation sessions and other scheduled meetings, with the aim of showcasing our capabilities and developments. Ensure proper organization, hygiene, and cleanliness of the work area to guarantee that products are delivered under optimal conditions, while maintaining a safe working environment for all team members. Carry out the applications corresponding to active projects, working collaboratively with the relevant areas to perform the necessary adjustments and evaluations in order to develop finished products that meet customer expectations. Ensure compliance with the company's established procedures to enable process fluidity, continuous improvement, and achievement of business objectives. Manage physical resources, raw materials, and supplies required for the operation of the applications laboratory. Complete daily documentation required by the position to keep project progress and internal work platforms up to date. Attend technical meetings at the local, regional, and global levels according to established requirements. Professional Profile University Degree in Food Science, Food Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology with Master's degree or postgraduate studies in related area. At least 6 years of experience in Savoury products in the food industry (application, product development, or related area). Experience in Savoury products applications, ingredients, and processes with practical experience in customers' food manufacturing environment, must‑have. Understanding of the flavour reactions/interactions in Savoury products. Experience translating market trends into products for selected customers. Experience instructing technicians and technologists. Plant scale experience to support production startup for customers. Experience in customer projects including customer visits.
