As an Accounting & Settlement Specialist , you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the secure and efficient handling of client funds. Your work will directly support Gallagher Re’s commitment to delivering exceptional client service and maintaining trust through accurate and timely settlements. How You’ll Make An Impact Be the main point of contact for clients, addressing payment‑related queries and ensuring smooth financial operations. Manage client accounts to ensure timely collection and payment of funds, resolving issues proactively. Monitor financial metrics like debt, funding, and unallocated cash using reporting tools to maintain accuracy and compliance. Reconcile daily cash transactions, calculate exchange rates, and raise payments promptly. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve queries and improve processes. Your work will ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and efficiency, helping clients and teams achieve their goals. About You Has 3+ years of experience in reinsurance accounting, credit control, or client interaction. Is fluent in Spanish and English (Portuguese is a plus but not required). Holds a Bachelor’s degree in a numerical subject. Can manage financial transactions with precision and explain complex issues in simple terms.
