Responsibilities Administering, monitoring, and maintaining relational and cloud-based databases. Optimizing performance and tuning systems to improve response times. Implementing backup, recovery, and business continuity strategies. Managing access controls and ensuring data security. Troubleshooting technical issues and ensuring system availability. Supporting database design and architecture improvements. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields. Minimum of two (2) years of experience in database administration. Experience in one or more database platforms such as Oracle, SQL Server (MSSQL Server), DB2, and MySQL. Experience working with cloud environments (Azure and/or AWS), including technologies such as Oracle on EC2, Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Amazon Aurora, and Redshift. Knowledge in performance tuning, backup and recovery strategies, database security, and troubleshooting. Intermediate English proficiency , with the ability to understand technical documentation and communicate in technical environments.
