Responsibilities The Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) is part of AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS), responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from large and mid‑market accounts to enterprise‑level customers, including public sector. WWSO teams include business development, specialist, and technical solutions architecture. As part of WWSO, you will provide expertise across the entire life cycle of an AWS customer initiative, from developing ideas for new services to accelerating the adoption of established businesses. Within WWSO, this position is part of the Go‑To‑Market (GTM) Specialist team, where you will lead GTM strategy for AWS’s database services for LATAM customers. You will create sales plays, leverage partners, and build new initiatives that drive results for our customers. You will provide critical feedback from customers to inform our product roadmap and work closely with our partner network to build an ecosystem supporting our customers’ goals. In emerging areas, you will play a critical role as the first‑in team to build markets for new services, domains, or solutions. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree 7+ years of go‑to‑market, business development, sales, or consulting experience Experience in English‑language communication, both written and verbal 5+ years of database experience Preferred Qualifications Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities, or experience working with customers with a passion for delivering exceptional service Experience communicating across technical and non‑technical audiences, including executive‑level stakeholders or clients Experience negotiating complex deals with customers and partners Knowledge of and experience with cloud infrastructure technologies Experience in a heavily matrixed sales environment, including developing, implementing, managing, and executing go‑to‑market growth initiatives and sales motions Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
