The Role We are seeking an experienced and proactive NetSuite Engineer (ERP & Finance Systems) to join our team in a full-time, fully remote capacity. This role will own and enhance our growing finance systems environment, with a strong focus on NetSuite, automation, and integrations. You will work closely with Finance, Operations, and IT teams to optimise ERP processes, strengthen reporting capabilities, and deliver scalable, high-impact system solutions. This is a hands‑on role requiring both technical depth and business acumen, with ownership over key initiatives including SuiteBilling, system integrations (e.g. HubSpot, Avalara), and continuous process improvement to support a fast‑scaling global environment. What you will do Act as the primary owner of NetSuite, including all customizations, scripts, workflows, and integration points Design, develop, and maintain custom NetSuite applications using SuiteScript Build and manage Saved Searches, reports, dashboards, and automation using SuiteFlow and SuiteScript Implement and support SuiteBilling enhancements and improvements Implement and maintain ERP and CRM customizations to support evolving business needs Identify and deliver automation and process improvements to enhance system accuracy, efficiency, and usability Write and maintain test scripts, validation processes, and logs to improve system reliability and reduce manual intervention Own, maintain, and optimise integrations between NetSuite and external systems (including HubSpot CRM), ensuring data integrity, synchronisation accuracy, and scalable automation Support and optimise NetSuite AI Connector initiatives and integrations Manage and optimise corporate credit card integrations and reconciliation workflows within the ERP environment Develop and maintain Budget vs Forecast reporting with comparative analysis to support FP&A Implement and manage expense reimbursement controls, including automated alerts and approval workflows Own and optimise End‑of‑Month (EOM) workflows to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency Manage NetSuite roles, permissions, and system access controls, ensuring strong governance and security practices Provide day‑to‑day support to business users, including troubleshooting, training, and user access management Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Finance, Operations, IT) to deliver scalable system solutions Work with external vendors and partners on system upgrades, regression testing, and issue resolution Support ongoing system initiatives, including AI integrations and ERP enhancements Is this you? You are bilingual, with English as your second language, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Minimum 5+ years of experience administering and customizing NetSuite Strong understanding of NetSuite architecture, including custom records, fields, workflows, and SuiteBundles Experience with ERP integrations, system automation, and workflow design Proven ability to analyse, debug, and optimise existing scripts, integrations, and legacy configurations Experience supporting NetSuite CRM, eCommerce modules, and integrations with platforms such as HubSpot Exposure to tools such as Avalara, corporate card platforms, and other finance‑related systems is highly regarded Strong business process understanding with high‑level analytical and problem‑solving capabilities Ability to quickly assess business requirements, design effective solutions, and lead implementation end‑to‑end Strong communication skills, with the ability to document technical concepts and communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders Proven ability to work independently, take ownership, and operate proactively in a fast‑paced environment It’s not expected that any single candidate would check every box here.
