About The Job The AI & Automation Champion drives hub‑level automation by promoting a culture of “automation‑first” and AI‑enabled thinking, acting as the primary liaison within the hub. The role identifies automation and AI opportunities, builds and nurtures a community of hub‑level “automation citizens,” and supports them in developing scalable solutions through technical expertise, AI capabilities, and sound solution architecture, all while adhering to the automation and responsible AI governance framework. The role ensures the hub has the capabilities to transform inefficiencies into intelligent, scalable automated solutions, enabling the business to focus on higher‑value, insight‑driven activities. Main Responsibilities Promote a culture of “automation‑first” and AI‑enabled thinking, embedding AI use cases into daily operations. Act as the primary liaison within the hub, connecting functions and identifying opportunities to leverage automation and AI. Build and enable a community of “automation citizens”, providing training on low‑code tools and AI capabilities, and sharing best practices. Support functions in identifying repetitive, manual, high‑volume workflows, assessing their feasibility for automation and AI augmentation (e.g., document processing, decision support, predictive insights). Engage the Automation CoE in Hyderabad for complex automation and advanced AI‑driven solutions. Identify and scale reusable automation and AI solutions across hubs. Conduct feasibility assessments, advising teams on the best mix of automation and AI‑based solutions. Educate employees on the benefits of automation and AI, addressing adoption barriers and fostering bottom‑up innovation. Promote a culture of continuous improvement, integrating automation and AI into process optimization initiatives. Support “automation citizens” in developing and deploying low‑to‑medium complexity solutions, incorporating AI where relevant: Power Automate (workflow automation + AI integrations) Power Apps (forms, lightweight apps with AI features) Excel Power Query (data transformation and preparation for AI models) Leverage AI models (e.g., Claude, Gemini, Grok, etc.) to enhance automation across the lifecycle, including data analysis, content generation, and workflow optimization. Provide ongoing support for deployed automation and AI solutions, ensuring performance and scalability. Define and track value‑based KPIs, including efficiency gains from automation and AI (cost reduction, accuracy, speed). Ensure all initiatives have quantified value and stakeholder alignment, including AI‑driven benefits. Maintain a centralized repository of automation and AI projects for traceability, tracking, and ROI calculation. Ensure compliance with governance frameworks, including automation standards, data privacy, security, and responsible/ethical AI guidelines. Lead governance cadences with stakeholders, providing updates on automation and AI initiatives, risks, wins, and support needs. About You Experience Lead digital transformation and automation initiatives within GBS/SSC environments, leveraging AI to optimize end‑to‑end business processes (Finance, Supply Chain, Commercial). Design and implement intelligent workflows by translating business needs into scalable digital and AI‑driven solutions. Leverage enterprise systems (SAP, Workday, etc.) integrating them with automation and AI capabilities to enhance efficiency and decision‑making. Build and deploy automation solutions using tools such as Power Automate, Power Apps, Python, and advanced data transformation (Power Query). Incorporate AI models (e.g., LLMs) to enhance automation use cases across the process lifecycle, including data analysis, decision support, and workflow optimization. Drive continuous improvement and process optimization, using process mapping and performance metrics. Manage projects end‑to‑end, ensuring delivery, scalability, and alignment with business objectives. Collaborate cross‑functionally to identify opportunities for AI adoption and innovation across the organization.
